Amouage Imitation Man Eau de Parfum paints a leather tinted portrait of 1970s New York, opening with a brisk spark of cedrat, nutmeg and black pepper, moving into a suave trio of Turkish rose, orris and violet, then settling into myrrh, leather, vetiver, patchouli and castoreum for an evocative, city lit trail that the brand describes as an olfactive imitation of multicultural Manhattan.

Story & Positioning

Created as a tribute to the energy and cultural blend of New York in the seventies, Imitation Man explores a floral leather idea that balances gleam and grit with polished poise. It arrived as a paired concept with Imitation Woman under the theme Life imitates art, extending Amouage’s city-inspired storytelling within its core line. 

 

Bottle & Design

A rectangular glass flacon finished in an iridescent gradient that moves from deep blue at the shoulders through vivid magenta into a citrus-tinted yellow at the base. The face carries a gold Amouage medallion with neat AMOUAGE and IMITATION lettering, leaving generous open glass so the color shift shows clearly. A mirror bright gold cap in the brand’s hilt shape crowns the neck and features a small jewel at the tip, giving a precise, polished finish. Smooth radiused edges and a thick glass heel add stability. The presentation box is midnight navy with neon line art and gold detailing that echoes the bottle’s palette and seventies mood.

Returns & Refunds Eligibility
Due to hygiene and authenticity concerns, we do not accept returns if the plastic layer on the perfume box is opened.

No returns or exchanges are allowed for reasons of personal preference or fragrance suitability.

In Case of Damaged or Defective Products
If you believe your order has arrived damaged, broken, or with the wrong contents, please record a full unboxing video from the moment you open the sealed plastic poly-mailer.

Ensure the video clearly shows: The sealed packaging before opening, the process of unboxing, the issue (e.g., leakage, damage, wrong item)

Send the unedited video along with your order number to our support team within 24 hours of delivery at support@elusiev.com

We will review the footage and get back to you with a resolution. If the claim is approved, you will receive a replacement if stock is available or a refund.
