BDK Citrus Riviera Eau de Parfum captures a sun washed Mediterranean escape for him, opening with a vivid squeeze of Italian mandarin and lemon over neroli and a breath of fig, then drifting toward orange blossom and jasmine brightened by strawberry and eucalyptus before settling into a quietly sensual base of white musk, Haitian vetiver, Indonesian patchouli, and tonka that feels clean, luminous, and effortlessly relaxed.

Story and Positioning

Part of the Collection Azur, Citrus Riviera pays homage to Cap d’Antibes and the Côte d’Azur, imagined as citrus trees, sun-warmed stone, and sea light carried by the Mistral. It wears as a polished citrus floral with a subtle aquatic freshness that suits heat and humidity and reads refined rather than casual. In 2025, the house unveiled a limited Citrus Riviera edition illustrated by Édith Carron, extending the collection’s Mediterranean travel mood. 

Bottle and Design

Citrus Riviera arrives in a tall, lucid glass rectangle that catches light like a pane facing the sea. The liquid sits clear and bright, fronted by a cool, coastal-toned label with crisp serif lettering and generous breathing room. Corners are softly beveled, and a thick, transparent heel keeps the stance steady without feeling heavy. BDK’s curved cap appears in deep lacquer black, smoothing over a short collar and settling with a quiet, confident close. The sprayer releases a fine, airy veil that coats evenly rather than flooding. The carton uses matte, textured board in clean white with a slim printed rule, and a custom insert holds the bottle snugly so the unboxing feels tidy, fresh, and effortless.
