Story and Positioning

Part of the Collection Parisienne, Gris Charnel imagines a twilight walk along Paris rooftops where cool air meets the warmth of skin. The contrast of spicy tea, milky fig, and polished woods gives a contemporary urban aura that suits evening socials and daytime sophistication. The narrative was expanded with an Extrait edition that deepens the original theme while preserving its signature tea and fig character.

Bottle and Design

Gris Charnel is housed in a clear, rectilinear bottle with rounded corners that gives the glass a soft, architectural calm. The liquid shows through as a light neutral tone, set off by a centered cream label edged with a graphite keyline and crisp serif type. Short, square shoulders rise to a compact collar that keeps the stance neat and vertical. Crowning it is BDK’s curved, high gloss black cap, a smooth shell that settles with a tidy click and feels reassuring in the hand. The heel of the bottle is thick and transparent for balance, and the sprayer releases a gentle, cloud like plume for even coverage. The box uses textured white stock with a charcoal frame and minimal branding, with a precision cut insert that holds the flacon snugly for a clean, modern unboxing.
