Story and Positioning
Inspired by Parisian style, La Petite Robe Noire celebrates a rose centerpiece embroidered with gourmand black notes for a chic day-to-evening signature. The modern worldwide edition in 2012 followed an earlier boutique exclusive created in 2009 by Delphine Jelk, later reimagined by Thierry Wasser for broader release. The line has grown into a full wardrobe of interpretations, including recent chapters like Eau de Parfum Absolue in 2023 and Rose Noire in 2024, all exploring the contrast of luminous rose with dark, delectable facets.
Bottle and Design
Presented in Guerlain’s historic inverted heart bottle introduced in 1912, the flacon’s graceful shoulders and heart shaped stopper frame a gradient from deep black to soft pink, echoing the fragrance within. The bottle is adorned with the iconic dress illustration and today is joined by the refillable heart bottle travel format for on the go elegance.
