A mystical rose wrapped in devotion, Lalibela opens with a luminous floral breeze where jasmine and freesia feel weightless over a soft green glow, then deepens into a velvety heart of ylang ylang, rose, orange blossom, and powdery heliotrope. It settles into an embracing trail of patchouli, vanilla, and musk that feels radiant yet serene, equally suited to evenings out or contemplative moments.

Story and Positioning
Named for the Ethiopian city famed for rock-hewn churches, Lalibela is imagined by the brand as a scent of joyous fervor and quiet wonder, where rose meets incense-filled ritual and mineral light. It sits within Memo’s travel-inspired world as a luminous floral with gentle sweetness and a comforting base. The line later expanded with Lalibela Oud in 2013, which explores a richer direction with oud, tobacco accents, and frankincense, offering a deeper companion to the original.
Bottle and Design
The bottle is a tall, clear rectangle framed by an inky black shell with a polished cylindrical cap. The front plate carries golden geometric diamonds and star-like rosettes that echo sacred ornamentation, while the warm nectar tint of the liquid glows through the glass. A weighty base gives a steady stand, and the textured gift box presents the house name in elegant type.
