Story and Positioning
Ultra Blue is the fresh aquatic chapter of the Explorer pillar, taking the original 2019 woody aromatic into a sunlit citrus marine direction that suggests travel, freedom, and open water. If you enjoy the crisp blue style of Versace Dylan Blue, Bleu de Chanel, or Acqua di Gio Profondo, this sits in a similar refreshing citrus woody space while remaining versatile for office, gym, and weekend wear. The Explorer line later added Explorer Platinum in 2023 and continued with new iterations, reinforcing Explorer as a modern, masculine wardrobe of fresh to woody signatures.
Bottle and Design
The heavy glass base reveals the Montblanc star that symbolizes six glacial slopes, while a deep blue Saffiano textured leather like sheath wraps the bottle for grip and style. The sheath is assembled by hand at the Montblanc Pelleteria in Florence and topped with the white star emblem crafted in Hamburg.
